Obviously, there is no such thing as a “perfect day” or is there? I will leave that up to you.
Most of us can agree that our brains are in an auto-pilot mode and don’t act consciously most of the day to a point where we even do things that we don’t want to.
To me visioning this perfect day allows me to set a schedule that I usually don’t do on a normal day and helps me go through the day where I feel more connected with myself, gives me a sense of achievement at the end of the day and makes me look forward to the next day. There will be some days that I won’t get through these items every day but the point of this is to keep trying!
“The best investment you can make is in yourself” — Warren Buffett
The most important thing here is that I am aware of what I am doing, I am consciously aware that I need to change who I am because of the goals and purpose I have set.
How will I get myself to make every day a perfect day?
Start by implementing one habit every day
- It’s been getting easier and easier for me as I implement one good habit day by day. It was even hard for me to play a podcast instead of good hype Linkin Park/Fort Minor on my way to work! What turned the table around? Just playing one podcast. I still remember that day and thought to myself “Its always first step that counts”. Now I have been listening to a podcast on my way to work, while at the gym and sometimes at work. All the good vibes, good comments, wonderful life lessons from the podcast, it felt like my brain is absorbing so much information and I realized that it is taking an effect on me subconsciously in my decision making and my thought process is much better and clean! I am more positive than ever before, I smile a lot more than ever before, small/big things don’t get me down, I am more focused and conscious than ever before.
Vision
- I have been a visionary my entire life. If you put a camera inside my brain you will see tons of sketches/small clips of how I would look in a six-pack, bringing smiles to people, my new house with parents, how I will achieve a certification, my career in 5 years, helping others in any way and so on.
Vision without passion and the drive is useless.
- All these visions I create or my brain unknowingly creates; at the end of the day I must truly be connected with them with all my senses and must align with my future. Then I must start asking questions: Why do I want a certification? Do I need a six-pack? Why do I need to help others? Why do I need to buy a house? The questions I ask myself to give me clarity on whether or not they are important for me.
“You can’t create something if you can’t draw it in your mind”
- Creating these visions help me connect to the goal/task even much more at a deeper level. It helps me guide to reality and in a way, it helps me keep motivated.
Fear
- There is always one thing that drives a person. One of them for me is fear. Fearing how my future will look like if I don’t get my shit together. If I don’t work on myself now when will I? There is so much I would like to improve in like finance, self-development, and career.
No matter what I do in life my end goal is to be authentic, pure, clean, be able to financially support my family, have a purpose for the people around me, bring smiles, and share wisdom.
- I won’t become or do any of this if I don’t start now with these habits and continue to grow myself slowly.
Ending Thoughts
- From my personal experience, you don’t have to do everything that sounds “good” and makes you look cool. Your schedules do change from time to time and that’s okay! If you stick with what’s good for your body and mind you are off to a good start! Try new things that are good for you internally, physically and see if you enjoy doing it. You are in your own battle.
I believe in this day and age the sign of maturity starts when you start making your wishes come true rather than working on other people’s wishes about you. Its time to start doing whats right for you and it starts when you realize it.
